AUTOBOT SKIDS and MUDFLAP have always been close, but this is a little ridiculous. Equipped with experimental combination technology, they use their newfound ability to help the other AUTOBOTS® hunt rogue DECEPTICONS® wherever they hide. Unfortunately, they have so much difficulty hanging onto each other in vehicle mode that they spend more time struggling to stay on the road then they do fighting.

First of all, I got this toy from Walmart for $13, so you should shop around for the best price. It’s a deluxe, so Mudflap and Skids are pretty tiny in robot mode, and they’re flimsy. It should have been voyager size. The vehicle mode is really cool; kids will get a kick out of it. The transform is pretty difficult; my boyfriend has been transforming things for 20 years, and he had trouble with it.

Cool vehicle, pretty true to movie form. The bots are OK, I haven’t held them up to the screen to compare, but something seems significantly different… Not going to complain about replica quality in a $15 toy though.
The problems from this one all come actually attempting to transform the toy, or play with the car. While in car form, the two segments of the car tend to separate easily. While in robot form, the doors, etc. fall off easily.
We have probably 20 of the transformers and transformers 2 toys, this is probably the worst to transform.

I thought htis might be fun for my friend’s 4 yr old, he absolutely loves transformers and plays carefully. The pieces break apart often, difficult to “transform” without breaking off a piece. It took me 20 mintues to “transform” the two back into that icecream truck. Don’t waste your money. Although, if you’re a collector, I think it’s fine.
